Frequently Asked Questions
We're often asked about how we work and what you can expect when you work with Dias Brothers. Below are answers to questions you may have, but if you don't see the answer you're looking for, please give us a call at (561) 498-4923.
Insurance, Payment Options & Proposals
Yes. Dias Brothers Landscape Service carries worker's compensation insurance for all employees, as well as full liability insurance specifically for landscape.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards, as well as personal or business checks.
We cannot give an estimate for landscape services over the phone. Every situation is different so we need to examine the property and surrounding area before we can give you a quote.
There are 4 simple ways to accept a proposal.
- Reply to the email to approve your proposal if you are accepting it in its entirety exactly as written.
- Print the proposal, sign it and mail the signed document to 231 NW 18th Ave. Delray Beach, FL 33444
- Print and sign the proposal, then scan it and return it to us via email or by fax to 561-498-4919
- Print and sign the proposal, snap a photo of the signed document and then return it via email
If you would like any changes to the proposal, please call our office to discuss options as it may change the price and scheduling of the work.
About Landscape Work
That depends on where you live and what work will be done.
We'll help you determine whether or not permits or authorizations are needed to perform the work.
You'll then be responsible for securing those permits or authorizations and providing Dias Brothers with copies.
If there are any animals on the property, please let us know before we come out to provide an estimate. All animals must be brought indoors or contained before staff arrives.
Some animals find the noise and activity associated with landscaping to be distressing. Please ensure that all animals are kept well away from the work zone while our crew is on site.
It's always a good idea to get underground utility lines marked before stump grinding, tree removal, or large pruning jobs.
If you have any underground sprinklers, drain lines, invisible fences, septic fields, or underground cables, those should also be marked or mapped.
Unless the underground lines and structures are adequately and accurately marked or mapped, and that information is presented to our crew before work starts, we can't be responsible for any damage caused during performance of the work.
